Paying

Payments are due at time of booking, as that time slot will be set aside just for you, and I may schedule everything else around you. Late cancellations and no shows create undue strain on my one-woman business, so the full amount is due, and if prepaid, forfeited. Similarly, bounced payments will incur penalty fees.

My clients have all been super, so I have not had to enforce this; if I had to, any future bookings would have to be prepaid after the account shows a zero balance.

I do not bill insurance, as is true for most LMTs. It is very difficult to become an in-network provider, and even then the risk of not being paid by the insurance makes this proihibitive. If you want to try to be reimbursed (out of network rules apply), I will gladly provide you with the necessary paperwork. On request I also provide paperwork for your taxes (10% of your adjusted gross income, or 7.5% if you or your spouse is 65+ years old). For either one, please note that you will need a prescription for massage therapy by your physician.

Booking online allows you to pay with a major credit card (AMEX, VISA, MC). Booking requires a CC hold. My online scheduler uses stripe technology and charges 2.95% for this secure service.

In person, I accept major credit cards via square (square charges 2.75%). Since I am a registered health care provider with Square, you may use your FSA debit card. FSA (Flexible Spending Account) can only be used for an accepted health care service for yourself, not tips, packages, or gift cards.

Local checks and cash are also accepted.

Accepted are also: SpaWeek gift cards (available at major retailers, online, and some rewards programs) with value applied to the session fee only. I just adopted this program, so there are no reviews yet. Regulars best purchase session credit / NB gift vouchers directly (see below).

Gifting

You can purchase session credit for someone. As long as we are in biz, it does not expire. Non-refundable, no monetary value. Upgradable. All policies apply.

Naturally, I have my own vouchers with attractive presentation, and depending on value of the sessions bought, include

- a voucher at $20, $25, $50, $80 and custom amounts

- a gift baggy with some small goodies added

at no extra cost for gift vouchers $80 and up

- a wrapped gift box with medium goodies added

at no extra cost for gift vouchers $200 and up

Bags and boxes are available around the holiday season and can be custom-prepared any time with advance notice - please inquire.

You can establish a wishlist with me, similar to an actual table when folks get married, and select any of my Neutrally Buoyant services for others to grab and give. I will send you an email with the information you can then share with those that you'd like to point to the perfect gifts for you. They will then contact me with their pick, pay for it, and receive confirmation - this can be a sticker or card to enclose in an envelope (session credits), or one of the gift boxes (available at one full session and up). Session credit gifts start at $10 - you can collect multiples, pay for the remainder, and upgrade another session.
