This photo was taken at a prominent cave diving location in North Florida early in the morning before a nice dive some time last year. See the beauty and enjoy the tranquility of a place built on natural aquifers. Learn why this place needs to be protected.
SCUBA diving, and especially diving with an "overhead" (real overheads in caves or wrecks, or virtual overhead in planned decompression) is inherently dangerous and limited to trained and certified divers. Without proper training, appropriate life support equipment and following learned and practiced procedures you can die before your time.
Please be safe and considerate of others and the environments you visit. Please do not engage in diving beyond your personal and training limitations and do not invite others that are not prepared to join you.
There are many sound options to share the underwater world safely that can all be offered by a skilled and caring active instructor, who has insurance and complies with or exceeds recognized agency standards, walks the walk and stays healthy and fit. These services can be made available to you:
- Training (check bio & instructor pages & training philosophy)
- Refresher
- Guiding
